By running my research studies through the Tempus platform and online workflow, I was able to collect data substantially more efficiently than when using any other platform I am aware of. The workflow is tested extensively across browsers and operating systems to ensure that it never breaks or malfunctions (something I can unfortunately say has happened too many times due to one-off exceptions of people randomly completing my other survey studies from the Facebook app browser or other things I didn’t think to test).
Tempus provides a very personalized survey development experience, which is particularly helpful for someone like me who needs to have every single aspect of the study specified. Even when I’m not quite sure of how something (like complex conditional display logic for a question) works on the back-end, I can essentially write it out in pseudo-code, and the Tempus folks can make sure that it gets appropriately translated to work in their system, which is also fantastic!
These services greatly aided our recruitment efforts by connecting us with eligible participants who were looking to contribute to research. These services also connected us to families searching for the type of treatment our studies offer, allowing us to provide treatment to more families. The entire team was a pleasure to work with and quickly resolved any problems that arose.
